Overview
SNAP-8 (Acetyl Octapeptide-3) is a synthetic octapeptide studied as a topical cosmetic active and an extension of the acetyl-hexapeptide (Argireline) concept. Its sequence mimics the N-terminal domain of the SNAP-25 protein, and in cosmetic-peptide research it is investigated as a SNARE-competitive modulator of acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction.
