Overview

Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from the ACTH(4-10) fragment, developed in Russia as a non-hormonal neuroactive peptide. It pairs the neuroactive ACTH(4-7) core (Met-Glu-His-Phe) with a C-terminal Pro-Gly-Pro that slows enzymatic degradation, giving a markedly longer in-vivo window than the native fragment while stripping the corticotropic activity of full-length ACTH. It is studied for nootropic, neuroprotective, and BDNF-modulating effects in cognitive and cerebrovascular research models. Vialdyne releases Semax acetate to a ≥99.0% HPLC main-peak specification purity, with a batch COA reporting RP-HPLC peak integration and ESI-MS identity; peptide-content assay, water (Karl Fischer), acetic-acid counter-ion, residual solvents and endotoxin are available on request and listed on the COA when tested. Applications & buyer fit
